The Shinto's Philosophy

Protein and fiber are the foundation.

We believe the relationship between protein and fiber is essential to building purposeful nutrition for every stage of life.

Younger, growing and muscle building animals may need a greater emphasis on protein. Steady, active adults often thrive with a more even balance. As animals enter their senior years, their meals may shift toward less protein and more fiber.

Every animal tells us what they need.

Mix & Match gives you the freedom to adjust protein, fat, fiber and phosphorus by selecting individual foods that work for your animal.

A more individualized balance may also support animals with food allergies, sensitivities, urinary concerns, pancreatitis or irritable bowel conditions. In some cases, smaller meals served more often or a fiber forward combination may be recommended.

How to use it

Choose

Add any proteins and fibers, set the amount of each, and pick a delivery option.

Mix

Combine per your dog's recommended ratio. Warm slightly with bone marrow stock if preferred. Never microwave.

Serve

Serve at room temperature. Keep covered at 40°F or below and use Mix & Match components within five days. Freeze portions that will not be used in time.

Good to know

Can I buy protein only?

Yes. You can purchase Protein Mixers separately. A single mixer is a component, not a complete meal on its own. Pair it with appropriate fiber and follow your pet’s feeding plan.

What if I only want fiber?

You can purchase Fiber Mixers separately. A Fiber Mixer alone is not a complete meal, and adding a supplement does not replace the need for an appropriate protein and fiber pairing.

Do the items ship together?

Yes. Everything you build is packed as one order and arrives in a single box.

Need an exact formula?
