HOW TO FEED YOUR STARTER KIT

Portion once. Feed consistently.

Use the calculator above for your dog’s starting amount, then follow these instructions for every container in the kit.
For your 20 lb dog 8 oz per day Divide the daily amount between your dog’s regular meals.

Measure the daily food

Adults start at 4 ounces per 10 pounds of body weight daily. Puppies and lactating mothers start at 8 ounces per 10 pounds daily. On opening day, divide the container in half lengthwise, then make seven cuts across to create 16 equal squares.

Portion when opened

Each square equals 1 oz from a 16 oz container, 2 oz from a 32 oz container, or 4 oz from a 64 oz container. Use the number of squares needed to meet your dog’s daily feeding amount, divided between morning and evening meals.

Never microwave

Do not microwave the food. Gently warm the Bone Marrow Stock instead, then pour it over the meal. Use ¼ teaspoon of stock for every 2 ounces of food. You can use warm water too.

Add Omega-3 last

After warming either bone stock or water, add in Omega-3. Give 1 drop per pound of body weight twice daily: one full dose in the morning and one full dose in the evening.

Refrigerate or freeze

Keep fresh food covered at 40°F or below. Refrigerate dog food for up to eight days and five days for cat food. Freeze portions that will not be used in time and thaw them in the refrigerator.

Mind the bowl

Food may remain in the bowl for up to two hours. Do not feed food that smells spoiled, appears contaminated, or has not been stored safely. Watch your dog clean the bowl.
