Vendors are encouraged to decorate their booths for each month’s theme. Keep it playful, welcoming, safe and pet-friendly.

Rain does not cancel Pet Market Day. When the weather turns, the market moves indoors.

How it grew

Too good for just once a year.

Pet Market Day started as an annual idea: one joyful day for pet families, local makers, animal advocates and good neighbors. The response made the next step clear. We are bringing it back every month except January and keeping it going all year.

Small-business vendor

$40 per market

One approved booth space. Setup starts at 9:30 AM, and booths must be ready by 10:45 AM.

The payment covers an official shirt and participation materials. The role is unpaid, and volunteers cannot also vend.

These are participation spaces for animal-serving nonprofits—not paid sponsorship packages. Each market includes one Platinum, one Gold and one Silver position.

Every market at 1 PM

Gather around for the Pet Market Day dog contest.

At 1 o’clock, we will create a community circle where everyone can gather to cheer on the dogs. Guests are welcome to bring a chair. Enter one dog in one category, or simply come watch and enjoy the fun.

Apply below to take part in Pet Market Day. Our team will follow up with approved participants.

Vendor application

$40 per approved market. Acceptance is not guaranteed.

Vendor regulations and participation agreement

  1. Vendor participation will grow with the community. Booth placement and event-day details are confirmed with each approved participant.
  2. Products, services and messaging must be accurately represented.
  3. Vendors are responsible for applicable permits, licenses, taxes, food-safety requirements and regulatory approvals.
  4. Vendors must carry legally required insurance and provide proof if requested.
  5. Canopies require 25–40 pounds on each leg; stakes alone are not sufficient.
  6. Setup begins at 9:30 AM. Booths must be ready by 10:45 AM; vehicles must leave before opening.
  7. Animals must be healthy, safely leashed or contained and supervised. Vendors are responsible for animals in their care.
  8. No open flame, unsafe electrical connection, unauthorized amplified sound or hazardous material.
  9. Keep the space clean and remove all waste.
  10. Safe, stable, accessible and pet-friendly themed decorations are encouraged.
  11. The market runs rain or shine and may move indoors.
  12. Vendors accept responsibility for their property, products, employees, helpers, guests and conduct.
  13. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the vendor agrees to release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless Pet Market Day, Pet Food Culture, Shinto’s Pet Food, the property owner and their owners, employees, volunteers and agents from claims arising from participation, except where prohibited by law.
  14. Organizers may remove a participant for safety, legal or community concerns without a refund obligation.

When is Pet Market Day?

Our next market is Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 11 AM–3 PM. Pet Market Day runs on the second Saturday, with no January market. Future event details will be announced.

What if it rains?

The event still takes place and moves indoors.

How many spaces are available?

We’re welcoming local businesses and growing participation organically. Apply for a booth, and we’ll confirm placement and event-day details with approved participants.

Can a volunteer also vend?
